When your vehicle overheats do the following. First safety pull off of the highway immediately. Secondly turn off engine. Thirdly call for help.

Before you travel ensure that your vehicle has the proper fluids it need. Never remove the radiator cap when the vehicle is HOT. Never continue to drive when your vehicle is HOT. Whenever you see your temperature gauge raises or stream coming from the hood pull over ASAP. Never pour water into a HOT radiator, by during this will crack your engine block.
