When your vehicle overheats do the following. First safety pull off of the highway immediately. Secondly turn off engine. Thirdly call for help.

To prevent your vehicle from overheating ensure that your vehicle maintenance is up to date. Its several systems in your vehicle to help regulate temperatures. Engine oil provides lubrication to your engine which reduces friction and heat. Oil changes is very important this will ensure you that your engine stays cool. Before you travel ensure that your vehicle has the proper fluids it need. Eventually, your vehicle cooling system will develop scale which tamper with the circulation of fluid the system then will needs to be flushed.

Tip:
Never remove the radiator cap when the vehicle is HOT. Never continue to drive when your vehicle is HOT. Whenever you see your temperature gauge raises or stream coming from the hood pull over ASAP. Never pour water into a HOT radiator, by during this will crack your engine block.
